My name is Robert. I am in the picture above. I currently live in Austin, TX. I have lived there with my partner of 15 years, John, since 2001. I also currently have three dogs – Rex (who is now 12), Woo (who is about 9 or 10) and Dorothy (who is about 3) (John and the dogs are shown below).
Before living in Austin, I lived in Miami, FL for over 25 years.
I have also lived in Tampa (where I was born), Birmingham, AL, and Philadelphia, PA. In addition, I have spent a large portion of the last 7 years in San Francisco, CA.
After more than a decade in the tech industry (as a programmer, a software engineer and a database administrator), I have decided to retire from the rat race and spend time seeing the world around me. Discovering new places, their cultures, their food, and their music is truly one of life’s greatest pleasures.
